Andrew has over 25 years of Global Financial Markets experience having worked extensively in Capital Markets specialising in derivative products.
He has extensive banking and financial expertise and has worked in London, Tokyo and Australia with leading international institutions.
In 2007 Andrew launched his own fund as an alternate investment product targeting the HNWI and Institutional Investment markets throughout Australia and Asia.
Managing Director (NSW)
Bryan has over 25 years’ experience in wholesale financial markets including investment and capital raising in London, Tokyo and Sydney.
He was the CEO of ICAP Plc’s operations in Japan, which comprised of a number of joint ventures that were significant liquidity providers in the Japanese Government bond, interest rate derivative and equity derivatives markets, and was active in niche credit markets, including corporate bonds and distressed debt.
Director, Banner Asset Management (ASIA)
Jeremy has 27 years’ experience in the international money markets, primarily managing interest rate options groups.
Since 1989, he has been a director or senior manager throughout leading brokerage companies in Hong Kong, London and Tokyo. He has been actively investing in international real estate since 1986 and is currently a principal of Estuary LLP, a fund specialising in Argentine agricultural and construction investment trusts.
Managing Director, Banner (JAPAN)
Trevor is the CEO of Banner Japan which commenced operations in 1979.
Trevor was also a fund manager for the Paradigm Fund hedge fund from 1998 to 2005. In addition Trevor was a sales director for Charterhouse Accountants (London) from 2003 to 2006, specialising in UK tax products.
Director, Banner Asset Management (SINGAPORE)
Jonathan manages a high yield investment portfolio and is adviser to a number of private clients.
He is also an active lender in the private mortgage market throughout Asia as well as an angel investor to numerous start-ups, while additionally having a strong focus on algorithmic trading.
From 1992-2007 he held senior management positions in leading investment banks throughout Sydney, London and Tokyo primarily trading the firms interest rate and inflation derivative exposures.
Board Member Banner Capital Management
Todd brings over 25 years of global investment banking experience in Fixed Income and Commodities to Banner Asset Management.
As a UBS and RBS Senior Managing Director in London, Tokyo, Hong Kong and Singapore, he has a track record of success with his astute international trading and management skills.
Todd spent 18 years at UBS, where he led the $1bn Emerging Markets Fixed Income group as the Global Head and turned around the Commodities business. At RBS, He was Head of Trading Asia Pacific and Global Co-Head of Emerging Markets.
Todd is now an active private finance and private equity investor and manages Lardos Capital Singapore.
Brett has been a partner with Melbourne legal firms for over 20 years during which he acted for international and local banks, listed corporates, funds and private financiers.
Brett specialises in finance and the fund's management industry and has owned and operated managed funds.
Brett holds a Bachelor of Economics and Bachelor of Laws and is a compliance officer and committee member for funds, and sits on investment and credit committees.
Senior Portfolio Manager
Sam comes to Banner with experience in the emerging markets of Hong Kong and China where he worked for six years.
He started his career at Citibank in Shenzhen in China looking after Private Wealth clients then moved to PWC in Hong Kong where he was an Associate specialising in IPO and Capital Market Advisory. In this role, Sam advised clients including the Bank of China and The Shenzhen Stock Exchange.
Sam then headed to Australia working with the Industrial and Commercial Bank of China in Corporate Banking and Structured Finance across the Property, Natural Resources, Infrastructure & Utilities and Renewable Energies Industries. Sam lead the Macarthur Wind farm $550m Debt Project Finance deal.
Sam joined Banner in 2013 and brings a wealth of experience in finance and major projects.
Nicola practised for a number of years as a lawyer in commercial litigation, insolvency and corporate reconstruction at a mid-tier Victorian legal firm.
Nicola holds a Bachelor of Laws degree (with honours) and a Bachelor of Business from Griffith University and holds a current practising certificate in Victoria.
Nicola acted for banks, builders, property developers, liquidators and bankruptcy trustees and had experience in the enforcement of securities, building and construction contracts and disputes, property transactions, corporate insolvency and bankruptcy.
Sookie is a graduate of Monash University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce majoring in Accounting and Finance, with over 7 years’ experience in the finance industry.
Sookie started her career in a global institutional & retail bank as a customer service representative and facilitated lending activities for high net worth clients.
Sookie then moved into a high profile wealth management and wrap platform responsible for the administration of members’ superannuation and pension accounts. She later developed into a senior funds administrator role and completed her Diploma of Financial Services, bringing her experience to the Banner Asset Management team, where she manages the funds registry & administers the portfolio of Banner investors.
Senior Portfolio Manager
Tom joined Banner with significant legal and real estate experience from various global businesses.
He began his career as a lawyer at A&O LLP, focussing on debt capital markets in London and Italy. He transitioned into real estate through JLL’s Corporate Finance division in London and Dubai, advising on M&A transactions.
Tom then joined the debt restructuring team at Lloyds Banking Group in London. There he oversaw the management of distressed real estate loans and capital recovery for the bank. Most recently, Tom was a director at a London based real estate debt fund, originating, structuring, executing and managing loans in the UK and European markets. He also advised the UK Government in respect of its £3.5bn debt guarantee scheme to fund UK residential assets.
Tom holds a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy and Economics from Bristol University and a Post-Graduate Diploma in Law from the College of Law, U.K.
